"Dr.Kaplan and his team are absolutely amazing in so many ways. I started my orthodontic journey in NYC with someone I had little confidence in, but wanted braces so bad. My anxiety was also so bad anytime I went to a dentist so as you can imagine moving to a new state and having to start over essentially with someone new was pretty difficult for me. Dr. Kaplan and his team are warm, professional, empathetic, caring, and lovers of their craft. Their attention to the whole person and really wanting the best outcome for their patients was impressive. "Our family was referred for orthodontic treatment by our dentist for our daughter Morgan. I chose Kaplan Orthodontics after meeting them at the Dunwoody Arts Festival on Mother’s Day weekend. They always set up a booth and interact with the community.At our first visit, Alexis (treatment coordinator), was so welcoming and kind to my daughter and really sold me on the choice. Dr. Kaplan is also very personable and welcoming.We started with expander and have progressed to our braces. After they were put on, we had to return several times for different reasons and we never had an issue contacting them regarding an appointment. When I started my braces journey I was 39 with metal braces, yes it was kind of late. My overall treatment was amazing I had the best smile creator. The worst parts of my treatment were food getting stuck in unimaginable places. The power chaining for the spaces between my teeth were excruciating, poking wires were a nuisance, and cutting up food because biting with my front teeth would leave food stuck inside my braces."

Several friends that went to other providers often complained about ill-fitted aligners and prolonged discomfort. "Wow! It's hard to believe that we have been with Dr. Kaplan for a decade! I only have two children, and one of them had orthodontia twice. It's been a supreme experience. Dr. Kaplan has a wonderful bedside manner. One unique aspect of knowing him is that we both have two sons in the same age range, and we've traded stories throughout the years.His staff is warm and accommodating. We've never waited long to be seen. The office is cozy from the coffee to the movies. And the final product is perfection! Both sons have done well with their corrective wear. We've had both aligners and metal bands. Summertime is special because Dr. K shows his appreciation by treating patient families to a movie. Although I am pleased for how my sons' smiles look, this is also the end of our ortho journey. We will miss seeing him."

"If I could give these people six stars I really would. First off the place is very clean, sanitized to perfection. The people there are very friendly and genuine. Don’t forget you get a free consultation. They walk you through what needs to be done with your teeth depending on what your personal goal is for your smile and they give you the price up front on how much it would cost. I highly recommend them before you go ANYWHERE else. Because of them, they exceeded my expectations of how straight i want my teeth to be. "So much easier and quicker than when I had braces in Middle School. I was nervous about seeing an orthodontist as an adult, but decided to do the Invisalign. Dr. Kaplan and his amazing team made the whole process super easy! It was SO much faster and easier than I expected. No pain or wires like regular braces. They took care of everything, and I was even able to do weekly progress scans from home instead of having to come back to the office every other week. They give you everything you need and more, and really go out of their way to make sure you're experience is as worry free as possible. "Love Love LOVE Kaplan Ortho! Not only did they help me achieve a beautiful smile, but they were transparent about costs & treatments, fully present for each visit, and super attentive! For any age, Kaplan and his team are so amazing and I would definitely recommend him!I first got braces from Kaplan in high school (early 2010's to be specific when I was an early teen) and sadly busted my permanent retainer at the beginning of COVID (over a decade later). I was bad and waited a few years to go get my teeth checked and didn't realize how my teeth had begun to shift. "Dr. Kaplan and his whole team are amazing!! Over the past 12 years Dr. Kaplan has been kind, patient, and has so much expertise. He helped me to get the smile that i thought was impossible. My treatment was focused on what was easiest for me along with his professional expertise. When I came to Kaplan, another orthodontist had recommended a palate expander and immediately to go into braces which would have taken many more years to treat. Dr. Kaplan avoided that pain and lengthy treatment by waiting to put me in braces until my teeth were ready, which made my treatment shorter and more effective. I did have a pretty complicated situation and every time I look in the mirror I am blown away by the work that he did. "MIRACULOUS! I couldn't ask for better results with my adult braces, and I HIGHLY recommend Dr Kaplan to anyone. I was told at previous orthos that I would need a painful metal palette expander to widen my upper row of teeth, but Dr Kaplan was able to give me a perfect smile with just Invisalign and rubber bands. The best part - it honestly didn't hurt, not in the way I expect traditional braces would. "Writing on behalf of my husband’s experience. He had braces as a teenager in the 80’s, but as he grew his jaw became quite misaligned. He was told by dentists and oral surgeons that in order to fix his bite which was grossly incorrect (couldn’t eat an apple or barely bite a slice of pizza) that he would need to have surgery to break and rewire his jaw. However, in his late 40’s, after our sons had orthodontics with Dr. Kaplan, he decided to have a consultation. "I’ve been going to see Dr. Kaplan and his team since I was 14yrs old and in middle school. I had braces for two years and the process was quick and easy (as long as you follow his instructions!) I’m 22 yrs old now and Dr. Kaplan is still my favorite. I recently went into his office 8years later needed a new retainer. I had stopped wearing my old one because it was gross and I was ready for an update. At first I wanted a permanent/“bonded” retainer. Dr. Kaplan and his team were happy to give me one. One of the bonds on the back of the teeth ended up popping off and my teeth shifted even more. Then we switched to having my teeth realigned. 4 weeks of wearing progressing aligners and now I have an updated permanent retainer and an extra just in case ;) Dr. Kaplan and his team never make you feel bad for your mistakes or accidents (because they do happen) and they always are friendly and accommodating. This office even offers discounts for payments in full! I love this office so much I wish they were my regular dentist too (I even begged them to do my regular dental work haha). The point in having braces and seeing an orthodontist is to not have to see them again and the Kaplan office does such a good job I probably won’t see them again. "9/10! Great experience! Dr. Kaplan not only helped me with my braces, he also referred me to Dr. Maron, a great surgeon who ultimately helped me complete my jaw surgery. I would have too much to say if I illustrated the entire experience, so I will just leave some thoughts for people considering working with Dr. Kaplan:-Braces have to get adjusted over the time period that you wear them. Once Dr. Kaplan places the braces on your teeth on your first visit, the majority of the follow-up and maintenance is done by his assistants. Dr. Kaplan then takes on more of a supervisory role. I didn't know this at first and was wondering why does one orthodontist have so many dentist chairs in his office. Fortunately, all the assistants that helped me did a great job.-Most of the patients are kids, which is not surprising. Although I feel differently about braces and orthodontics as an adult, if I was still a kid I would look forward to going to his office. They have really cool events to get kids engaged to the process (like the children movies playing all around the office and fun giveaways). I can also tell that Dr. Kaplan is great with kids. If you are a parent, you should be excited to know that.I did not give a 10/10 experience for a few small reasons:-In the beginning, I had a brace attached to my rear molar tooth that kept coming off. It was because that tooth did not have a large surface area for the brace to attach to. I had to go back to the office to get it attached. It was complimentary so I didn't have to pay for the extra visits, but it did take time away from my other daily activities. No big deal though.-On the TVs where they play children movies, I always wished that they would put on subtitles since no sound was played. Again small and petty issue.If he is still offering complimentary consultations and you are interested in braces for you or your loved ones, I highly recommend giving his office a call. "I'm a sophomore at GT who first visited Dr. Kaplan's office in 6th grade (8 years ago!) and was reminded this morning when I went into the office just how amazing Dr. Kaplan and his entire staff are. The only complication I've had since getting my braces off is one little piece of my bottom retainer pops off on occasion, usually due to my own fault, and Kaplan is always accommodating by getting me into the office ASAP so I don't have to miss class and fixing it free of charge. Dr. Kaplan also took the time to ask me about how my life is going and even airdropped my old "headshots" to me from the office Mac so I could see what pre-braces Me looked like--showing he takes the time to care for his patients despite how busy their office gets. Out of all the stressors that can come out of a visit to the doctor, I'm glad I don't have to worry when I visit my orthodontist! Quality service, quality staff, quality smiles. :)"
"I was referred to Dr. Kaplan by a family member when I wanted to get 1 problem tooth straightened out before my wedding and ultimately fix a long-term bite issue. When I finally decided I wanted to pull the trigger and do it, I only had 10 months until the wedding and they went out of their way to work me in on the last day before the Christmas break. On top of all this, I am an out-of-town patient, and they have really bent over backwards to schedule appointments around my travel schedule. I have even skyped with Dr. Kaplan when I was having trouble with one of my aligners since I couldn’t easily make it back into the office. I have also loved that I have had so much say in my own treatment! They really listened to me when I said straightening my smile was my priority for the wedding. I wanted an office that I could feel comfortable in, even when surrounded by kids. I did visit another office and without hesitation chose Dr. Kaplan. I really have no words for him and his entire staff. They are amazing! I had my braces for a year and 4 months and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Even when I pushed to get them off sooner Dr. Kaplan would explain to me why I shouldn’t take them off yet, not just tell me no. As happy as I was to get them off, I didn’t like knowing that I would have no need to come to the office every 6 weeks. I have referred friends to Dr. Kaplan and feel that he and his staff are truly the best in orthodontic care!2/17/2017 Update:After 3 years of having my braces off I bit into the wrong thing and popped my bottom retainer off. I called Dr. Kaplan's office and got an appointment right away. I went in for my appointment and it was like I had never stopped going. There were still so many familiar faces! Dr. Kaplan got me all fixed up and in and out of there so quickly. He also 100% remembered me from 3 years prior and asked about school, work and picked up right where we had left off. I fully recommended this office 3 years ago and today I fully stand by that. Hands down the BEST orthodontist you could go to!"
"Dr. Kaplan’s office is the first orthodontist I went to about braces. I was really nervous being a 29 year old adult getting braces. "We are beyond pleased with the orthodontia treatment that Dr. Kaplan provided for both my older daughter (regular braces, 2 phases) and my husband (Invisalign). Dr. Kaplan is extremely personable, caring, professional, talented, and welcoming…and so is the entire staff. It is so easy to schedule appointments, the office is very modern and inviting, and Dr. Kaplan always spoke to me after each appointment with a treatment update. Because both daughter and hubby were diligent with home care, they both had shorter treatment times than originally planned. And most importantly, they have gorgeous smiles now!
